About

I’m Lu, a food stylist, recipe developer and tester; Bristol-born, now living in London.

My career started worlds away from food. For 4 years after studying International Development at Sussex Uni, I worked in press and comms for humanitarian organisations.

Having always been passionate about cooking, travelling, and learning about different cultures (and how food is integral within them), it was a revelation when I stumbled across food styling.

One introductory food styling course and many conversations with stylists later, I decided to quit my full-time job to pursue a career in the food world.

I’ve been lucky enough to work with a wide range of clients on both editorial and advertising shoots. I also work as a Home Economist on TV and film shoots.
